About.

Björck & Börjesson Antiquarian Booksellers was founded in Stockholm in 1901. Karl Börjesson (1877–1941), socialist with literary ambitions, and Albert Björck (1856–1938), pastor in the Swedenborg church, created Sweden’s leading rare book company and the third largest in the world with a branch in New York. B&B led a waning existence in the middle of the century, but received a new international boost when Björn Löwendahl (1941–2013) took over the business in 1976 and ran it until 1994 when he started Björn Löwendahl Rare Books in London. B&B hopes once again to attract the attention of colleagues, institutions, and book collectors worldwide through the twenty forthcoming catalogues covering the dispersal of the Wunderkammer Ltd Pension Fund.
